The legacy of the Silver Arrows dates back to 1934 and a debut victory for the Mercedes-Benz W 25 in the legendary Eifelrennen. A period of almost forty years absence from the sport would follow, before Mercedes-Benz returned to Formula One as an engine supplier in 1994 and then as a full-time works outfit in 2010. Five years later, under a revolutionary set of new regulations introduced for the 2014 season, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team would return the Silver Arrows to title-winning ways – clinching both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championships.
