Our #80Stays tour is continuing across Asia Pacific and we're having a great time! We're now in Kuala Lumpur for four days before heading next to the perfect little island of Langkawi. I'm excited to go back... I went there about 10 years ago when I was just getting started with photography, so I'm looking forward to seeing the island in a whole new way!

Starting a new series that's really an old series (literally and figuratively)
I really enjoy watching things age and mature. I find there is incredible beauty and nobility to be found in things that have grown "past their prime" (which these days is such a misnomer.) From flowers to food to our senior citizens, there is grace and beauty and vibrancy to be seen no matter what the age.

The library at the restaurant here at the Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur. I wish I had an extra day to sit around and do some reading! 🙂 We did start a mini-book club here on the trip for all of us... reading "The Name of the Wind" (my 3rd time!).
